Clam Cake Recipe


  • 1 cup flour (all-purpose)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper, ground
  • 1 egg, beaten and mixed with 2 tablespoons milk
  • 8 oz clam juice and/or clam liquor


  • Whisk all ingredients together until you get a smooth mixture without lumps. The consistency should be thick but not runny. If the mixture is too runny, add some more flour and mix it well.
